Amazing Bus Tour

Timing

What you need to remember is that the bus tours operate at scheduled times which means you need to be ready for pick up at given times. Apart from arriving on time to pick you up a good company could offer to come right to your accommodation facility to pick you up rather than creating a terminal for everyone. Determine what works best for your convenience when choosing among the tours. Drop-offs should be just as suitable.

On board snacks and drinks

Some tours can be quite long depending on the areas they are designed to cover in a day. Because you may not have the luxury to keep stopping to snack or eat because of the time schedules, it is important to consider what is offered on board so you can pack anything else as you deem fit. Some companies offer complimentary morning snacks, sandwiches and even water at no extra cost. The more you know the better prepared you will be for your day tour.

Sight stops

When it comes to bus tours, you are likely to stop at some sights and check others out from the bus. Find out about the sights you will be visiting and exactly at which ones you will be stopping for a little exploration and photo takes. This is important especially if you have target sights that you feel are a must visit during the tour. In case your favorite sights are not scheduled for a stop, you can make special requests if possible or choose a different itinerary that covers your preferred areas.

Guides

Experienced local guides make some of the best. This is because they are familiar with the localities and providing you with all information, stories and even interesting facts about the different spots comes easy. Also important to check is whether they are salaried or they rely on tips and commissions they get on the bus tour. Salaried guides are happier and interesting compared to commission based guides who might be more interested in taking you top optional sights at a fee.

Finding Great Beach Rentals

1. Find the Right Destination

The beaches in the United States are certainly beautiful but perhaps you are looking for something more exotic. If this is the case, the Mediterranean can be the perfect tropical destination spot. Perhaps you would like to go to sunny Spain or the posh French Riviera, or you could head further out to the island of Cyprus and enjoy some breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountainous regions of Turkey.

2. Evaluating Costs

Once you have chosen the spot you need to factor in the cost. You may have found the perfect locale but can you afford a rental house or just a small villa? There are several different travel websites that can assist you in finding that perfect, affordable place on the beach.

3. Finding the Right Sized Rental

Next you need to make sure you are able to accommodate the number of people coming with you. You don’t want to rent a 2 bedroom villa in Tahiti when there are 8 people in your party. You need to find the right size to make sure everyone is comfortable and has their own space. This is especially important if you are going with your spouse and other couples. With the beauty all around, you will want some alone time with your partner. Also, you will need to figure out how the cost will be broken up. If you have a larger budget to work with, perhaps something slightly more lavish will work out well. If you are there on a small budget and are not as concerned about personal space, room sharing in a smaller rental can give you the opportunity to enjoy the experience without spending too much money.

4. What Kind of Beach Location are you Looking for?

You will want to see what type of beach it is that you are going to. Is it a public or private beach? Is it a nude beach? These are important questions to ask especially if you are travelling overseas to unfamiliar beaches. The last thing you want is to walk out on the beach with your children only to realize you are the only one wearing swim suits! You will also want to figure out the weather around that beach at the time of year you will be there. You don’t want to be sitting on the beach in Cancun during the Monsoon season. Make sure there are plenty of sunny days during the time of your stay

Tackling the Artemis Trail

If the name of the trail seems familiar, it is because it is named after the Greek goddess Artemis, daughter of Zeus and Leto. What makes the trail more exciting and intriguing is it brings you around the summit of Mt. Olympus, the home to the gods of the Greek Mythology, and locally known as Chionistra. Reaching the summit takes you a little more than 1800 meters above sea level. This means you will be at an excellent vantage point for the spectacular scenery, which include views of iconic villages like Paphos and Limassol.

Linking up to the Atalanti Trail, Artemis Trail is actually a rough circular loop, and covers 7 kilometers. It begins and ends in the small car park just off the summit road of Olympus. The trail leads to shaded areas but also open ones that offer breathtaking views of the mountain. Even though Artemis takes about three hours to complete, the trail is relatively flat, and that is why it is perfect for new hikers with varying fitness levels.

Mount Olympus is not the only highlight to the trail, Artemis also leads to the “Walls of the Old Town” (Teisia tis Palias Choras), which is actually the ruins of an old temporary Venetian fort, believed to have been built during the later 16th century. The fortification was built as the main defense against the invading Ottomans. The trail also features endemic plants, geological formations and black pine forest. A bonus attraction to the trail is the old black pines, which are around 500 years old.

Artemis trail is housed in the Troodos National Forest Park, part of a protected area called NATURA 2000. The trail is marked well, and even has adequate information signs that will give you more information and insights about the forest and the journey. The most suitable period to hike this splendid trail is from March through November. And although Artemis has a lot to offer in the summer, also consider coming in during winter for some serious skiing fun as the trail is located close to a ski lift and club.

Before tackling Artemis trail, don’t forget to bring water, hat, and your preferred sun protection. Smoking, eating and making excessive noise are not recommended when you are hiking this nature trail. You can also hike all you want without the worry of being run over as bicycles and motorcycles are prohibited.

Avoid Losing Your Luxury Condo Rental Deposit

1. Read and Understand Your Rental Agreement – If there is one place to take your time, it would be when reading your rental agreement. Look for any extra fees and make sure you know how your rental deposit factors into your rental pricing. Will breaking specific rules mean extra costs for you? Ask as many question as possible, and it never hurts to have someone with no connection to your trip look over the agreement(s).

2. Check Local Renter Rights and Laws – It may feel like overkill, but knowing where you stand as a renter is always beneficial. Consider that you may be in another state or country. The last thing you want to depend on is hunches and general knowledge regain your rights.

3. Have a Detailed Walk-Through and Document Everything – When you get to your luxury condo, don’t be taken in by the glitz and glamour that comes with a high ticket rental property. As you would in renting an apartment, go through and check the premises for any problems such as stains, chips, scratches, and general upkeep that needs to be taken care of before you finalize an agreement. Take pictures and videotape the walk-through as these can be very important should there be any disagreement about the property’s condition when you leave.

4. Look Out for Fragile Items – A luxury condo is usually well-decorated and is made to look as great as possible. However, some of the items put out can break, so it isn’t a bad idea to take these items and safely put them in a protected area. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that if you do break something or damage something, fess up. Don’t try to cover things up as this can become a bigger headache down the line.
